Decorate for Christmas
On Sunday, December 1st, we'll be decorating the church building as a church family following the evening service. We’d love for you to join us for this fun and festive time together! Enjoy cookies, cocoa, and great fellowship as we prepare our church for the Christmas season. See you there!
Senior's Lucheon
Senior Saints, join us at the Nance's home on December 6th at 12 PM for our annual Christmas luncheon! Come enjoy a delightful time of fun, fellowship, and time in God's Word. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends and strengthen existing ones. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
SBC Family Christmas Party
Southside family, get ready for our Church Family Christmas Party on December 7th—and it’s about to get ugly! Join us from 4-7 PM for a fantastic time of games, food, fellowship, carols, and so much more! Don’t forget to bring a finger food, a 2-liter soda, and wear your ugliest Christmas sweater. It’s going to be a blast—don’t miss out!
Special Christmas Services
Each Christmas season, we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with two special services that focus on the birth of Jesus. This year, our Southside Sailors will present 'Jesus Is the Light,' a heartwarming Christmas program on December 8th. It will make you laugh, bring tears to your eyes, and most importantly, challenge your heart with a powerful message of God’s love and what He has done for us.
On December 15th, we’ll also have our Adult Christmas Cantata, 'Wonder and Awe,' which beautifully portrays God’s mighty works—from creation to the birth of Christ, and how His presence continues to impact us today. Both of these services will help us refocus on the true meaning of Christmas and bring glory to God.

Christmas Caroling
It’s that time of year again! On December 11th and 18th, during our regular outreach time, we’ll be Christmas caroling to share the joy of Christ's birth through song. We’ll be visiting local nursing homes and our church shut-ins to spread Christmas cheer and blessings. Join us in being a light to others! We’ll begin at 5:30 PM on both days. We’d love to have you with us!
Teen Christmas Party Afterglow
Southside Teens, get ready for our Christmas Party Afterglow on Sunday, December 15th! Join us in the Fellowship Hall for all the holiday fun and festivities. Bring a finger food, a Christmas sock, and a Christmas mug for a cheerful gift exchange! You won’t want to miss out on this exciting time together. See you there!
Carols by Candle Light
Church family, join us on December 24th for our final Christmas event of the season: Carols by Candlelight. This intimate service is the perfect way to pause before the busyness of Christmas Day. Take a moment to quiet your heart, worship the Lord, and praise Him for sending Jesus to be born and to die for us. He is truly worthy of our worship! Let’s come together as a church family to celebrate the true reason for the season—Jesus Christ!
